The show house has been built to illustrate the application of the KaiKai architectural guidelines.  The house is obviously not the only possible interpretation of the guidelines but certain key aspects of the guidelines are vividly illustrated. 

The house on stand 17 is a single storey building as prescribed for beach front stands. 

The home has a total area of 250m² and consists of:

• an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen
• a main bedroom with en suite bathroom and dressing room
• a guest toilet
• two large bedrooms sharing a bathroom
• a large double garage

In addition it has the following outside areas:

• an entrance passage
• a courtyard with a braai area
• a front stoep running the entire width of the house
• an open patio
• a private courtyard with access from the main bedroom
